Infinity Auto Insurance
Infinity Property and Casualty covers all types of drivers, with emphasis on the infinitely bad ones. The insurer primarily provides personal nonstandard auto policies -- Infinity is the third-largest writer of policies for high-risk drivers in the US. The company also offers standard and preferred personal auto, commercial nonstandard, and classic collector auto insurance. Licensed in all 50 states, the company currently focuses its business in 19 states, of which five - California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, and Pennsylvania - are key states. Prior to its 2003 IPO, Infinity was owned by property/casualty giant American Financial Group (AFG).

Reviews
The next best thing to being hit by a car.
Pros: nice people, if you can get them on the phone.
Cons: slow as molasses. ZERO response from them.
Four weeks ago (Jul 2000), my Acura Integra was run over by a Buick Riveria. The driver of the car was insured by Infinity Insurance. Since then, my life has been a living hell.

Pros: Price. At least at first. Decent customer service reps.
Cons: Price, they hassle, they disbelieve, they're paranoid to an extreme degree.
I've had a lot of different insurance companies in my life and not all of them have been price-centric choices (Amica, AAA, 21st Century). I also have an excellent driving record, drive a station wagon and am in my mid thirties.
